Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using SOV AI (the "Service") at sovaitech.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or brokerage, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

SOV AI is a software tool for commercial Property & Casualty insurance brokers. It helps you upload a Schedule of Values (SOV), enrich and AI-verify property data against public records, and export carrier-ready submission formats (including AmRisc, CIBA, and Jupiter). The Service exists to help you consolidate and organize your own work. SOV AI is not an insurance advisor, broker, agent, or underwriter; it does not sell, place, or bind insurance, does not evaluate risk on any party's behalf, and nothing in the Service constitutes insurance, legal, or professional advice.

Accuracy & Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of all data you upload, enrich, verify, or export through the Service. Enrichment and AI verification features draw on public records and automated processes that may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You must independently review and verify all values, addresses, construction details, and other property data before submitting any output to a carrier or any third party. SOV AI makes no warranty of any kind as to the accuracy of enriched or verified data or of any export, and you agree not to rely on the Service as a substitute for your own professional judgment.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload data you lack the right to use or that violates any law or third-party right; (b) attempt to access other customers' data or circumvent security or usage limits; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misappropriate the Service; (d) use the Service to develop a competing product; or (e) use the Service in any unlawful or fraudulent manner. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

Accounts & Billing

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Paid plans are billed month-to-month based on the number of locations you use, as described on our pricing page. A free trial covering up to 50 locations is available. Fees are charged in advance each billing cycle and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Your Data

Your data belongs to you. You retain all rights to the data you upload. We will never sell your data, and we will never use it to train AI models. We grant ourselves only a limited license to host and process your data solely to provide the Service to you, and protecting the data you and your clients entrust to us is our duty.

Intellectual Property

We own the Service, including all software, designs, and export templates. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ENRICHED, VERIFIED, OR EXPORTED DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR ACCEPTED BY ANY CARRIER.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOVAI TECHNOLOGY LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, DECLINED OR MISPRICED SUBMISSIONS, OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM DATA INACCURACY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the courts of [State].
