This policy explains what information SOV AI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information. Name, work email address, company/brokerage name, and billing details when you register or subscribe.
- SOV and property data you upload. Schedules of Values and related property information you submit for enrichment, verification, and export — such as addresses, building characteristics, and insured values. You control what you upload; do not upload data you lack the right to use.
- Usage and analytics data. Log data, device and browser information, pages visited, and feature usage, collected to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
How We Use It
We use your information solely to provide and operate the Service: authenticating your account, processing and enriching your SOV data, generating carrier-ready exports, processing payments, sending service-related communications, providing support, maintaining security, and improving performance. We will never sell your data, and we will never use it to train AI models. Your data belongs to you, and protecting it is our duty.
Subprocessors
We use a limited set of service providers to run SOV AI. Each processes data only as needed to provide its function:
- Anthropic — AI enrichment and verification.
- Google — AI verification, geocoding, and analytics.
- Supabase — database and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Render — application hosting.
- Resend — transactional email.
Our AI providers do not train their models on your content.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account and uploaded data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing admin@sovaitech.com; we will complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as billing records).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest for data stored and transmitted by the Service;
- Tenant isolation enforced at the application layer, so one customer's data is not accessible to another;
- Private file storage — uploaded SOV files are not publicly accessible.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access the personal information and uploaded data we hold about you;
- Export your data (the Service is built around exporting your SOV data in usable formats);
- Request deletion of your account and data, as described above.
To exercise any of these rights, contact admin@sovaitech.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Session authentication cookies, which are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure your session; and
- Google Analytics, which helps us understand aggregate usage of the Service so we can improve it.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning.
Children's Privacy
SOV AI is a professional tool for commercial insurance brokers and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (such as email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
